Peter Parker is sent to the airport to cover the arrival of President Calderon of Tavillia and his daughter Maria, who is representing her country in a beauty contest. But the head of the Tavillian legation, Michael Sauti, is kidnapped by Matsu and Klein, who are in the pay of Lisa Alverez, sister of the tyrannical ex-dictator of Tavillia.
Peter Parker is sent to the airport to cover the arrival of President Calderon of Tavillia and his daughter Maria, who is representing her country in a beauty contest. But the head of the Tavillian legation, Michael Sauti, is kidnapped by Matsu and Klein, who are in the pay of Lisa Alverez, sister of the tyrannical ex-dictator of Tavillia.In view of the kidnapping Peter is appointed as Maria's escort. While visiting a local disco, Maria is kidnapped right under the nose of Peter.
Then Lisa confronts Calderon with her demand that Tavillia is turned over to her or Maria will die. Calderon agrees to make his abdication speech before the beauty contest.
Spider-man picks up the trail of the kidnappers and traces them to their warehouse hideout.
After a pitched battle with hulking Matsu, Spidey frees Maria and Sauti. He captures Klein but Matsu disappears into the murky waters of the harbour.
Meanwhile, back at the beauty contest., Lisa waits for Calderon's abdication speech. Then Spidey arrives at the last minute with Maria, halting the speech and saving Tavillia.
