Less than a week out from the release of the Nicholas Hammond inspired Spider-man '77 Marvel Legends figure, and some fans in the US are getting notifcations that their pre-orders have been cancelled.
The reason given to some customers is that it is due to stock supplies.
Have Hasbro under-estimated demand for the figure?
Is it a result of US tariffs?
Or is it just normal for Walmart to over promise?
I reached out to Hasbro but was told they had no comment, and it was a matter for Walmart.
Walmart refused to give us a reason for the mass cancelations - saying they will only look in to orders from actual customers (I'm not located in the US so was unable to purchase from Walmart...a blessing perhaps?)
